DAY 7: FEELING GRATEFUL

Last day at last.

At the end of this fast I am fasting on water and herbal tea only.

BREAKING THE FAST:

At sun down we feast. Celebrate your fast with some lightly steamed veggies, a salad, a fruit medley, a smoothie or simply binge on your favorite fruit. You want to do this because you want to ease your digestive system into breaking down fiber and solid foods again gently. What you dont want to do is have a heavy meal consisting of meat and carbs right away because you may experience gas, bloat or stomach pains. I will have lightly steamed veggies and then a post workout meal.

BREAKFAST 11am:

dragon blood tea

Water

Wheatgrass shot with ginger turmeric and cayenne

Coconut water

LUNCH: 6PM

lightly steamed bok choy, broccoli, cabbage and kale

DINNER: post workout 9pm

warm chickpea salad and baked veggie burger no bread


IN CONCLUSION

when its all said and done the fast is done , but we are not done. Once we start eating again the goal is to continue to intermittent fast daily (eating meals after noon when the sun is at its highest point because that’s when we burn the most energy) OMAD-one meal a day is a good way to maintain the benefits of this fast. start your days with fruit, water, juice and teas and then in the noon have smoothies, a big cooked meal or a big vegetable salad. At the end of the night preferably before 10pm, for dinner eat either a smoothie, a salad or a cooked meal if you didn’t eat a cooked meal for lunch already. This fast has served its purpose time and time again. if you started at the beginner level, try to bump up to intermediate for the next Time. Health & Balance.
